A downloadable game

generate a mech and battle other mechs in a variety of levels

use the mouse to move 

left click to shoot

right click to  move

'd' to divert power to broken parts

'p' to pause

in building mode:

click gen button to generate a mech

arrow keys to change part position

ctrl + left and right arrows to cycle parts

I love games/sims with damage zones. The graphics are a bit too simple for my taste though. It would be easier for new players if the components looked different. The games does have mech generation though which my mech sim (Navpoint Alpha) does not.
